The YMCA of Greater Long Beach Early Childhood Education holds a partnership with California State University, Long Beach and Cal State University, Dominguez Hills. Our 6 preschools provide internship opportunities for fall, winter, spring, and summer semester.
In addition to the college level internship opportunities, we also accept high school volunteers looking to fulfill their required volunteer hours or simply wanting to make a difference in their community.
College and high school students are required to get cleared prior to beginning their hours at their assigned preschool.

Flu shot waiver provided during orientation If, at the time of your orientation, you do not have all the items, you can provide them later, but please note that it can delay the process of obtaining clearance. The application will be provided at the time of orientation. Fingerprint clearance can take at least 2 weeks. Please plan accordingly. |
