Christian Leadership Conference (CLC) is a voluntary three-day weekend event open to Y staff and volunteers. The weekend is filled with fun, fellowship, and spiritual growth. CLC offers an opportunity to get to know your colleagues more deeply. It is an opportunity to open your heart and mind, take time for personal reflection, and enjoy traditional camp activities. You'll leave inspired and ready to fulfill the mission of the YMCA.
CLC is open to all YMCA Staff and volunteers. It emphasizes the YMCA’s Christian heritage; however, people of all faiths are welcome.
YMCA CAMP OAKES
The conference is held at YMCA Camp Oakes, which is on 230 acres in Big Bear, off Highway 38, behind Lake Williams Road. Learn more about YMCA Camp Oakes.
YMCA RAGS AND LEATHER
For more than 100 years, the YMCA Rags and Leathers program has been an effective tool in promoting one-on-one counseling and personal growth. It is designed to help people take a closer look at themselves in relationship to their own strengths and weaknesses, religious beliefs, and relationships that surround them.
