Barracuda Swim Team
The Y is the starting point for many youths to learn about becoming and staying active, and developing healthy habits they will carry with them throughout their lives. Our swim team embraces the core values of the YMCA: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility. Furthermore, the team seeks to provide opportunities for social and emotional development, a physical and recreational outlet, and an atmosphere of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun for all. Our dedicated and experienced coaches will provide each swimmer with the maximum opportunity for development.

- Tuesdays and Thursdays
- 5:00–6:30 PM

Competition:
Our swim team competes in the Southern California YMCA League and the USA Swimming Metro Division. League registration is required and involves additional fees.
Requirements:
- Swimmers must pass Stage 6 Group Swim Lessons or pass an assessment.
- Swimmers are required to attend a tryout before registering for the swim team.

6–17
