YMCA NON-SCHOOL DAY PROGRAMS

The Los Cerritos YMCA offers a non-school day program (following the BUSD schedule) at our main facility in Bellflower when school is out! Your family can count on the Y to ensure your child is having fun in a safe, nurturing environment.

Our Day Camps have inspired kids with countless opportunities to laugh, lead, and make lasting friendships. Since your family's safety is our top priority, we have implemented safety protocols that follow state and local guidelines. Our focus is to help your children enjoy a safe and fun program where they can build lasting friendships.

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Hours of Operation: 6:30 am to 6:00 pm
• Fun activities are planned. Please see the schedule for the desired non-school day or contact our office at 562.925.1292.
• Program Hours: 9:00 am to 3:30 pm
• A nutritious snack is provided in the afternoon. Funded by the USDA in partnership with the California State Department of Education.
• The parent must provide a lunch! 
• We accept third-party agencies like Children's Home Society, Crystal Stairs, and DCFS.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Our rate is a flat rate of $265/weekly or $53/day*when available.
• We will prorate our fees when our facility is closed for certain holidays.
• Child DOES NOT need to be enrolled in our After School Care program to enroll in non-school day programming.
• You MUST register BEFORE the deadline through our website or in person.
• Camp Docs must be 100% COMPLETE to be FULLY registered.
• You MUST bring a lunch! If lunch is not provided, the parent/guardian will be responsible for paying a $5 lunch fee.
• If you are on a third-party agency- Our Admin team MUST have all documentation of approvals by your agency (we do not accept copies of paperwork from the parent) to move forward with your registration.
• REGISTER EARLY! All registrations will close one week before the scheduled Non-School Day. 
• After registration closes, a waiting list will occur.

WHAT TO BRING

• Lunch
• Water Bottle
• Closed-toed shoes
• Medications and medication authorization form.
• Positive Attitude 
• NO CELL PHONESPHONES, IPADS, OR ELECTRONICS ARE ALLOWED IN OUR FACILITY.

DAILY SCHEDULE

Child Care Operation Hours: 6:30 am - 6:00 pm

Program Hours: 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

CHILD MUST BE IN OUR PROGRAM BY 9 a.m.!

• 6:30–9:00 am - Drop Off; Activities in classrooms or outside play
• 9:00–9:30 am- Morning Snack 
• 9:30 am-3:30 pm- Group activities: Stem, Culinary, Art, Physical Play, etc.
• 3:30–4:00 pm- Afternoon Snack
• 4:00–6:00 pm- Parent pick up; activities in the classroom or outside play
