Summer Camp

Get ready for a Summer of Adventure! Explore our different Summer Camp options and find the perfect fit for your child.

 

Traditional Camp is a fun and enriching summer experience for children in grades K–4th. Each day brings fun-filled activities that build friendships and create lasting memories. Campers will embark on a field trip or participate in a campus event each week.

All-In-Adventure Camp is a fun and enriching summer experience for children in grades 5th–8th. Each day brings fun-filled activities that build friendships and create lasting memories. Campers will embark on a field trip or participate in a campus event each week.

Specialty Camp is the ultimate summer experience for children in grades 1st–8th. With exciting, specialized activities and weekly themed field trips or campus events, each day is filled with adventure and discovery.

This summer, the LBUSD student discount will not be available. However, financial assistance is available for qualifying families. To ensure your application is processed before Family Fest, we highly recommend submitting your financial assistance application as soon as possible. Click HERE to download the application.

Please submit your completed application to LosAltosDayCamp@lbymca.org or drop it off at our facility.

Additionally, the following resources can help with the cost of Summer Camp:

  • Children's Home Society (CHS)
  • Crystal Stairs

These resources provide additional financial support for eligible families. We encourage you to explore these options as part of your Summer Camp planning.

Financial assistance is available for families who qualify (for Summer Camp, this applies to Traditional Camp and All-In-Adventure Camp only).

If you have submitted a financial assistance application for other YMCA programs, you must complete a separate application specifically for Day Camp.


How to Apply:

  • Complete a financial assistance application. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  • Submit your completed application in person at the front desk. Be sure to include proof of household income. A list of accepted income documents is included in the application.
  • Wait for confirmation before registering. Financial assistance cannot be applied to registrations that have already been completed. Applications take approximately 1–2 weeks to review.

Please note that the amount of assistance may vary depending on available funding.

The following third-party agencies are accepted to help cover the cost of Day Camp:

  • Children’s Home Society (CHS)
  • Crystal Stairs
  • Harbor Regional Center (HRC)

Before registering, you must provide a current childcare certificate designating the Los Altos Family YMCA as your chosen childcare provider. If your certificate expires while your child is still receiving care from the Los Altos Family YMCA, you will be responsible for all childcare costs.


How to Register Using a Third-Party Agency:

If you are using a third-party agency, registration must be completed in person with our Program Coordinator, Christine Leon.

Third-Party Attendance Policy

Your child must attend the program they are registered for. Daily sign-in sheets are required to ensure accurate attendance records.

Excessive or unexcused absences may result in removal from the program.
