A Summer Of Smiles Is Here!

Summer Day Camp is just around the corner and we are excited to bring you a summer of smiles! Our 10-week Summer Day Camp, running from June 16th through August 22nd, provides an engaging experience for campers in a structured, safe and enriching environment. The program is designed to promote social, emotional and physical development through a variety of intentional activities. Campers will participate in arts & crafts, team building exercises, group games and sports to foster creativity, collaboration and physical fitness. Campers will additionally participate in field trips and weekly swim days. Whether shy or outgoing, we have options for every camper to feel like they belong. Our camp is committed to providing a high-quality experience that aligns with the American Camp Association standards, ensuring a well-rounded, safe and developmentally appropriate program for all participants.

Summer Day Camp Schedule

This year, LBUSD-ELOP funding for Summer Camps will not be available. However, financial assistance is available for qualifying families through the Lakewood Y thanks to our annual campaign fundraiser.

Please submit your completed application to aiko.lopez@lbymca.org or drop it off at our facility at your earliest convenience.

Additionally, the following resources can help with the cost of Summer Camp:

  • Children's Home Society (CHS)
  • Crystal Stairs

These resources provide additional financial support for eligible families. We encourage you to explore these options as part of your Summer Camp planning.

At this time, our location remains TBD. As soon as we get confirmation, all registered participants will be notified via email and our website will be updated.

Upon registering, you will only be charged a $35 registration fee, and a $20 per week deposit. These deposits ensure your child's spot in the camp and will be applied to the cost of the program. The registration fee and deposits are non-refundable.

No, financial assistance only applies to our Traditional Camp offerings and the Counselor in Training Program.

Sports camps are for the beginner level athlete. Our Specialty Instructors will teach campers the basic fundamentals of the game and make trying a new activity fun and inviting.

When they are not learning their specialty activity, campers will be participating in traditional camp activities such as group games, team building activities and arts & crafts.
