MISSION

The Parent Advisory Committee’s mission is to educate, encourage and empower parents and/or caregivers while developing, supporting and implementing events, activities and services for the preschool program. The PAC is committed to enhancing the children’s activities through parent involvement, mutual support and parent education.

PURPOSE

The PAC is composed of parent volunteers seeking to make a difference in the preschool, their community and in their family.

By participating in the PAC, parents will strengthen their leadership skills by attending various workshops, classes, supporting events and accepting officer positions. Joining the PAC will give parents a stronger voice through organizing and providing feedback during meetings. The PAC allows parents to form multiple social connections with other parents through different social events held throughout the year, such as the annual PAC Picnic where parents from all 6 preschools can build connections. Lastly, a helping hand is always more than appreciated and needed by our wonderful preschool teachers.

All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend the Parent Advisory Committee meetings.
